For the person who is landed with arranging and coordinating a business trip for several co-workers, help is at hand with Expedia.com’s Business Tools section. The new Travel Arranger allows just one person to book all the travel without the need of a password for each individual, while allowing each traveller to retain control over his or her account.
The new features build on the business services already available, such as MileageMiner, which manages frequent flyer programmes and the mobile services offered by Expedia To Go.
Previous itineraries can be used as a template for future trips and PNRs can be loaded into a personal calendar. Should someone need a receipt for expense purposes, e-ticket receipts can be printed as a hard copy.
30% of the customer base of Expedia.com is built from business travellers and these new features will especially help small and medium-sized companies who do not have a dedicated travel arranger.
