Uniglobe.Com Strikes Strategic Relationship To Provide Award-Winning Cruise Site To Tripeze.Com.

SEATTLE - Online travel cruise specialist Uniglobe.com today announced a strategic relationship that will see the Company provide fulfillment services and a
private-labeled version of its award-winning cruise Web site to Tripeze.com
Inc., a leading Canadian online travel company. Uniglobe.com has licensed its
cruise site to Tripeze.com and will pay a referral fee to Tripeze.com for all
cruises sold to their customers.
On the heels of Uniglobe.com’s number one cruise site ranking by online
customer servicing analyst Gomez, the Company has been
receiving interest from a number of Web sites looking to add cruise product, a
user-friendly booking engine, and fulfillment services.
“The private-labeling of our cruise site on http://www.tripeze.com makes our extensive cruise product, our industry expertise, and our customer servicing
experience available to new clientele,” said Michael Dauberman, Executive Vice
President for Uniglobe.com.
Tripeze.com focuses on serving Canadian travelers with brand-name travel
products supported by a combination of leading-edge customer relationship
management technology and personalized customer servicing.
“The relationship with Tripeze.com allows Uniglobe.com to service
additional customers in the Canadian market and also gives Uniglobe.com
increased exposure to the growing cruise customer base at Tripeze.com,” said
From the Cruise tab on Tripeze.com, shoppers now have a direct link into
a cruise site developed and maintained by Uniglobe.com. The site performs the
same range of services that Uniglobe.com provides customers on its own
http://www.uniglobe.com cruise site, including an extensive selection of cruise
bookings and customer services. Tripeze.com customers have the option to book cruises by destination or cruise line, review specials, and read expert advice
for first-time cruisers. In addition, they can examine frequently asked
questions and answers about cruising, read customer reviews, and join a cruise
club to receive e-mails about specials that may interest them.
“We are extremely happy to be partnered with Uniglobe.com. This new aspect of the Tripeze.com site is essentially a one-stop shopping place for
everything consumers will ever want or need to book their next cruise. And the
Cruise Control booking engine is certainly a valuable addition to the
comprehensive list of travel products available on the Tripeze.com site,” said
Paul Verhoeff, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Tripeze.com.
Uniglobe.com’s Cruise Control booking engine and its Web site were recognized earlier this month as the best in the entire online cruise business
by Gomez, a U.S. firm that analyzes e-commerce Web sites all over the world and then ranks them according to their industry based on a comprehensive set of objective criteria. Gomez said the Uniglobe.com site is the best overall cruise site and also the best in several specific categories including
customer confidence, relationship services, and in its treatment of both first
time and experienced cruise customers. The Company also earned accolades for
its live-chat functionality and high-speed search and booking capabilities.
