Northwest Net Check-In

The check-in process gets easier and easier, at least for those who fly Northwest Airlines in the United States.

From today, passengers using Northwest flights in the US’s 27 largest markets will be able to print their own boarding passes from their own home computer. No special paper is required; a stroll up to the gate where the bar code printed on your boarding pass is scanned, then it’s on to the plane. Furthermore, there’s a thousand Worldperks Bonus Miles to all who use Internet check in.

The service will be available to all passengers in the U.S. by the end of this year and applies less than 24 hours and up to 90 minutes before the flight departs. The check-in URL is www.nwa.com/checkin.
