Las Vegas Launches Vegasfreedom.com

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 26 - The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors
Authority (LVCVA) announced today the launch of vegasfreedom.com, the new
website for the destination of Las Vegas.  Vegasfreedom.com will replace the
LVCVA’s former site, lasvegas24hours.com.  Users who type in the old web
address will be automatically redirected to the new site.

Vegasfreedom.com will have an entirely new and distinctive design that
reinforces Las Vegas’ new “Freedom” marketing campaign. The new site will
continue to feature educational and entertaining content, in addition to new
features including:

  — Links to webcams positioned throughout Las Vegas

  — A “Personalized Itinerary” feature allowing users to plan and print
their activities as they prepare for their Las Vegas visit

  — “Know Me” software that will recognize registered users when they
visit the site and direct them to preferred content they define

  — An online “store” where users can purchase Las Vegas merchandise

“Vegasfreedom.com is designed to give users a sense of the Las Vegas
experience,” said Rossi Ralenkotter, vice president of marketing for the
LVCVA.  “Frequent travelers and potential visitors to Las Vegas can access the
latest information about the amenities and attractions they specify.  Ideally,
vegasfreedom.com users will be much better informed as they plan their
itineraries.”

Visitors to vegasfreedom.com will also find a searchable database
featuring every hotel and motel in Clark County; a complete calendar of
conventions, shows and events; up-to-the-minute weather information and
forecasts for the Las Vegas area; and diagrams of the layouts of both the Las
Vegas Convention Center and Cashman Center.  Additionally, online booking
services will assist meeting planners with organizing a convention or trade
show in the Las Vegas area, and members of the media will have access to all
the latest news releases distributed by the LVCVA.
