Over 1400 Hotels Worldwide Utilize RateVIEW

including the GDS, and third party sites such as Expedia, Orbitz and
Hotels.com.

Since January, hotels have been signing up for RateVIEW at the
rate of nearly 200 hotels per month. The product is already integrated into
hundreds of hotels` regular revenue operations procedures, judging from the
number of on-demand reports that users request.

In order to evaluate where RateVIEW product improvements might be made,
TravelCLICK conducted a survey of users between June 17 and July 1, 2003.
With nearly 30 percent of all subscribers responding, over 90 percent of
RateVIEW users reported high satisfaction scores with the new product. The
most popular feature, named by 70 percent of the respondents, is RateVIEW`s
capability to separately identify `merchant` versus retail rates.

TravelCLICK`s client extranet, the Electronic Marketing Centre (EMC), earned
enthusiastic praise as the means of report retrieval. The EMC is a secure,
password-protected personalized Web site provided to each subscribing hotel.
The EMC allows RateVIEW users to view or generate on demand RateVIEW
competitive rate reports. According to the RateVIEW user survey, more than
50 percent of RateVIEW users access on-demand reports more than twice a
week, and more than 25 percent of customers generate reports more than three
times per week.
“I love the new RateVIEW tool. It enables our property to perform revenue
management and adjust distribution strategies on both the GDS and the
Internet based on the freshest data available,” said Kari McClain, director
of revenue management for Doubletree Hotel Portland Downtown. “Plus, the
ease and security of accessing it on-demand through TravelCLICK`s EMC makes
it extremely convenient. We couldn`t live without it.”

“It is clear that RateVIEW is a resource these hoteliers turn to almost
daily to make their most important business decisions,” said Ray Cohen,
president and co-CEO for TravelCLICK. “We are delighted that TravelCLICK
users are so positive and passionate about the product, and about the way it
works for their hotels.”

“RateVIEW enables hotels to make better tactical decisions thereby improving
their net revenues,” said Richard W. Gray, chairman and co-CEO for
TravelCLICK.  “RateVIEW clients are reporting that with this accurate and
fresh rate intelligence, their competitive actions are now more timely and
more effective than ever before.”
