carrentals.co.uk, online car hire broking specialist, is offering a 25% discount on car hire to all customers who have lost a rental car
following the collapse of car hire firm Hire for Lower, which also trades under
the names Autos Abroad, Americars, Go Car Hire and USA Rent-a-Car.

Hire for Lower Limited has gone into voluntary liquidation, citing
“increased competition” for its demise and leaving many hundreds of
holidaymakers without a rental car.

carrentals.co.uk is offering those affected by the liquidation a blanket
25% discount on the list price for new bookings.

With its service partners including Alamo, Hertz, Avis, Budget, Dollar,
Thrifty and Europcar, carrentals.co.uk says it is able to offer
customers a choice of over 4,000 rental locations worldwide. The offer is valid until September 30th 2003.

According to carrentals.co.uk director Gareth Robinson:  “Events like
this affect the whole rentals industry, not just the travellers that have
been directly let down.  Hopefully this offer will soften the blow for those
affected.”
