announced a Letter of Intent to integrate a private label version of Revelex`s PowerAgent into the Vacation.com AgentNet portal.
Revelex is an Internet-based distribution system for complex leisure travel planning. Real time pricing and availability are queried through Global Distribution Systems, Central Reservations Systems, specific vendors and other reservation sources to quickly produce an integrated travel itinerary. This Web-based application is designed to help Vacation.com member agencies compete effectively with the mega-Internet travel Web sites while delivering very high levels of client support.

“Revelex is a suite of agency tools that will complete the technology in the Vacation.com AgentNet development as the Bloomberg Box or desktop solution to all the agent`s communications and booking needs,” said Dick Knodt, CTC, president and CEO of Vacation.com.

“With the incorporation of Revelex, the agents have all the selling and booking tools in place that provide them with a Web-based platform to sell air, hotels, cars, cruises, vacation packages, insurance and other travel products,” Knodt added.

Vacation.com will use Revelex to promote and sell Preferred Supplier products and will help their member agents market and sell leisure products on the Web. The agreement will also provide Vacation.com members with preferred pricing for the Revelex tools.
