Hotels.com, today announced it had record-breaking single-day bookings on July 2, 2003. The Company reached new records on two major metrics.
The Company had over $5 million in total company merchant lodging bookings on a single day and its web site www.hotels.com
now represents over 40 percent of the Company’s total sales. Additionally, Internet research firm Hitwise Pty, Ltd. named www.hotels.com as the number 1 website in its Top 10 Global “Travel - Destinations & Accommodation” sites for the week ended June 28, 2003.
