Stelios Haji-Ioannou, founder of easyJet, has cashed in å£17.4m worth of easyJet shares to fund his latest business, easyCinema

2,500-3,000 customers have been attracted to easyCinema since it opened in May, as ticket prices are as low as 20p.

Colombia Tristar, part of the Sony Group, has agreed to allow easyCinema to screen its recently released blockbuster, Charlie`s Angels, from 1 August. Tickets prices will be around £2, still less than half the amount charged by big cinemas.
