Toshiba`s European Computer Systems Division today ushers in a new era of wireless computing with the introduction of the Toshiba

Pocket

PC e750 Bluetooth. Allowing instant data transfer, the new Pocket PC

features integrated Bluetooth connectivity, making the e750 the ideal

companion for Toshiba`s full line of Bluetooth-ready consumer and corporate

notebooks.

In addition to built-in Bluetooth connectivity, e750 customers will enjoy

the benefits of a bright 64K colour 3.8” transreflective TFT display, ATI

IMAGEON 100 graphics and A/V technology with the powerful Intel® PXA 255

processor with Intel® XScale technology at 400 MHz. Expansion offerings

include integrated CompactFlash® II and Secure Digital? (SD) media slots

and an optional Toshiba Expansion Pack and high capacity battery pack.

The Toshiba Pocket PC e750 with Windows Mobile
software lets users do more with the built-in CompactFlash II and SD

expansion slot, ready for additional memory storage and Wi-Fi connectivity

(via optional Wi-Fi CompactFlash II card), as well as productivity devices

such as global positioning system and barcode reader.
Users can also take

advantage of the optional Toshiba Expansion Pack, which attaches to the

bottom of the e750 allowing customers to effortlessly conduct presentations

via a monitor or projector with the integrated RGB monitor port in the

Expansion Pack. The Toshiba Expansion Pack also integrates a USB port to

connect to USB native devices such as full-size keyboard.

 

For increased power and performance, an optional High Capacity battery is

available that easily slides onto the pack of the Toshiba Pocket PC e750,

providing additional battery life. Both the High Capacity battery and

Toshiba Expansion Pack can remain connected to the e750 while the device is

in the cradle.

Complementing the increased performance of the Toshiba Pocket PC e750 is

the Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs, including Pocket

Word, Pocket Excel, Pocket Internet Explorer, Microsoft ActiveSync and

Windows Media Player. Best suited for corporate users, security features of

the operating system include the Virtual Private Network client access to

protect sensitive data and e-mail communication through remote access

business applications on it`s company server.

Toshiba Pocket PC e750/e350 series customers with the Pocket PC 2002

operating system in English, German and French can take advantage of the

benefits of Microsoft® Windows Mobile 2003 software for Pocket PCs via a

technology upgrade program. Users who purchased a Pocket PC e750/e350

series device from May 23, 2003 Sept 23, 2003 are eligible to upgrade to

the new operating system for US$ 28.00 for shipping and handling.
