Wificom Technologies announced today it is teaming with Colubris Networks Inc., a global provider of 802.11 (Wi-Fi) wireless networking solutions for operators of large-carrier hotspot and enterprise networks, to deliver integrated public wireless LAN (PWLAN) solutions to service providers worldwide.

The integrated Wi-Fi access devices and back-end system provide a turnkey solution for service providers deploying and managing PWLAN networks. The solution merges Colubris Networks` award-winning Wi-Fi access devices with Wificom`s SAB Server, the complete backend billing and service management system for broadband Internet service providers.

Wificom`s SAB Server integrates service creation, billing, rating, roaming, customer care, reporting, device independent content delivery as well as value-added location-based services. With the joint solution, service providers will centrally manage hotspot services provided through Colubris Networks access devices.

Wificom and Colubris Networks will distribute the joint solution through existing value-added reseller channels.
