EasyJet topped last week`s list of most visited UK airline sites following a strong performance in the FTSE. This mirrors the experience of Lastminute.com, which topped the accommodation sites in the previous week after reporting a surge in its share price.
EasyJet, whose shares moved ahead 14.75p to 225.5p on Monday, took 28% of the market share.
No-frills carriers dominate the top ten, taking half the slots. Ryanair is close behind easyJet with 24% share, after which there is a drop off to British Airways with 16%. Bmi`s no-frills off-spring, bmibaby, has taken over it`s parent, with a 7% share over bmi`s 5%.
