Sabre Airline Solutions Announces New Appointment

In his new role, Gilchrist assumes direct responsibility for revenue generation, customer satisfaction, and new sales as well as continuing the company`s relationships with its more than 200 global airlines customers. The Sales and Account Management organization Gilchrist will head is responsible for managing the customer sales process for Sabre Airline Solutions` Products and Services, Reservations and Consulting businesses.

Gilchrist has been with the company since 1995, most recently as vice president of Strategic Accounts, a role he assumed in 2001. In this position, he led the account teams for Sabre Airline Solution`s largest customers, including the software applications development, enhancement, project delivery and maintenance on key airline accounts.


Prior to the Strategic Accounts position, Gilchrist had oversight for the company`s emerging businesses, outsourcing initiatives, Asia/Pacific sales and marketing, and regional sales in Australia. Prior to joining Sabre Airline Solutions, he held sales and management positions with Unisys and SAP.
