NTL Business and Dolphin Dynamics Deliver Search Solution

NTL Business

(Travel Division) announces a selling-systems first with the launch of FlightScanner on Traveleye, which offers agents revolutionary
web-based search functionality for flights.

Traveleye is the first portal to offer the technology. Flightscanner allows agents to consolidate low-cost airline searches through a web-based interface, leading to dramatic reductions in the time spent on online flight searches and bookings, while providing comprehensive information on availability and booking opportunities agents can offer to customers.

Created by Dolphin Dynamics
, FlightScanner simultaneously searches 18 airline websites including British Airways, Easyjet, MyTravelLight and Virgin-Express, to compare real-time schedules and fares information based on the date of travel, departure airport and destination. Previously, agents went through the time-consuming process of searching airlines` websites individually to find the availability they needed.

After selecting the customer`s preferred fare, FlightScanner links the agent directly to the confirmation page for that carrier, without requiring any of the itinerary details to be re-entered - saving time and boosting productivity.

Howard Tinker, NTL Business (Travel Division)`s Product Portfolio Manager said: “FlightScanner`s arrival on Traveleye is a first for the agency selling system market, and the solution will become essential to agents as they seek to sell more effectively in the popular tailor-made and late-deals holiday markets.”

Roberto Da Re
, Chief Executive Officer at Dolphin Dynamics added: “FlightScanner is specifically designed for agents to search availability from low-cost airlines and other airlines` internet fares in just a few clicks. We are delighted to be teaming up with NTL Business (Travel Division) and are confident FlightScanner`s arrival on Traveleye will further increase the product`s success.”

Following agreements with suppliers including Hertz, Superbreak, Holiday Autos and Gold Medal, NTL Business (Travel Division)`s link with Dolphin Dynamics is the latest stage in the company`s strategy of aggregating content with Traveleye, in order to ensure the portal offers agents the most comprehensive range of content available in the industry.

Traveleye`s 6500 users can access FlightScanner on a free 30-day trial during April, and will thereafter pay a specially negotiated monthly charge for using the breakthrough solution.
