Leisureplanet.com CEO presents at Phocuswright Investor Conference

Leisureplanet.com, a leading international leisure travel e-commerce company, today announced that Pierre Kleinhans, CEO of Leisureplanet.com, was a featured speaker at the first PhoCusWright Investor Conference on travel e-commerce in New York, Thursday 27 April. Kleinhans spoke to investment bankers, financial analysts and fellow e-commerce executives.

The CEO of Leisureplanet.com discussed trends in Internet usage outside the United States, and noted the proliferation and availability of international travel suppliers. Kleinhans also made observations about the potential for the provision of localised online leisure travel services outside the United States, particularly in Europe.

Kleinhans presented Leisureplanet.com, outlining the company’s strategy, objectives and vision. He explained the strategies the company is using to achieve it’s goal of delivering the ultimate leisure travel experience to online customers world wide and the metrics it employs to measure its success in doing so. Kleinhans explained the vital supporting role of partnerships in the company business model. The international network the company is building of specialised partners in the fields of web and wireless technologies, media, travel suppliers and distribution was discussed.

The PhoCusWright Investor Conference was the first investor conference exclusively focused on the intersection of the world’s largest vertical (the travel industry) and the world’s largest horizontal (the Internet) commerce sectors. The conference brought together travel e-commerce leaders and professionals with investment experts and financial analysts to discuss the prospects of and issues affecting the international e-commerce travel industry. Pierre Kleinhans will also be a speaker at the upcoming PhoCusWright LIVEurope in Montreaux, Switzerland 9-10 May, where Leisureplanet.com’s new advertising campaign will be presented at the advertising roast.
