Wayport`s eSales Team Drives Business for Hotel Partners

its unique eSales Team, a nationwide on-site sales force dedicated to
facilitating high-speed Internet connectivity and related technology
applications for meetings in Wayport`s partner hotel locations.
Wayport`s eSales Team acts as an on-site extension of the hotels` sales
and conference teams to fully support high-speed connectivity in meeting
rooms, including initial and ongoing training of hotel staff, collaborative
sales initiatives to drive meeting business, attending site surveys with the
hotels` clients, and technical expertise.
“We have found that as a result of having a partnership with Wayport and
their eSales Team, we are securing business from our competition and
definitely growing occupancy as a result of it,” said Dave Riley, vice
president of Catering & Convention Services for Wyndham Hotels & Resorts.
For example, when the well-known conference hotel, the Wyndham Palace
Resort & Spa in the WALT DISNEY WORLD(R) Resort, began utilizing Wayport`s
eSales Team earlier this year, meeting room connections at the property nearly
tripled in a single quarter and have continued increasing exponentially since.
Overwhelmed by the boost in meeting bookings, increased meeting planner
satisfaction and the seamless integration of the on-site Wayport eSales Team
member with the hotel staff, the Wyndham Palace has made the eSales team
member a permanent fixture.
Wayport`s eSales team adds value to the services it provides to meeting
planners, working closely with them during the initial stages of planning a
meeting to help evaluate technology needs, answer specific technology
questions and determine what Wayport services will improve the event.  This is
beneficial both to the planners and the hotel`s sales staff, as technology
issues are addressed up-front by a knowledgeable expert.
  “Instead of having to become experts on high-speed Internet access, the
hotels` sales staff can focus on their core business and let their Wayport
eSales team representative facilitate technology in meetings,” said Jack
