Tourists were warned last night of the heightened risk of terrorist attacks around the world during the war on Iraq. The foreign Office issued a Worldwide Threat on its website, warning of indiscriminate terrorist attacks in public places including terrorist sites.

 

You should be vigilant, take sensible precautions, be aware of local sensibilities, monitor the media and check our travel advice for the country you live in or plan to visit’ it said.
