Pegasus Solutions  realized steady growth of 17.5 percent from Scandinavian-based travel agency enrollment in its Pegasus Commission Processing service during 2002. 
As a result, Pegasus has secured 55 percent of the combined travel agency market share in the countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.  Pegasus Commission Processing, one of the hotel industry`s leading travel agent commission processing services, was created in 1992 by Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions, a leading provider of hotel reservations-related services and technology.

Pegasus Commission Processing counts nearly 1,500 Scandinavian travel agencies and 700 Scandinavian hotel properties among its global customer base.  A contributor to Pegasus’ continued growth in northwestern Europe is the addition of numerous call centers and ticket offices from Scandinavian Airlines, one of Scandinavia’s leading travel and accommodations providers.  The airline has nearly 300 office locations throughout Scandinavia and the world enrolled in the Pegasus Commission Processing service, outsourcing the collection and management of its hotel commissions worldwide to Pegasus.
