has signed a new partnership with ByRail, the online
booking tool from Eurostar
, to deliver time and cost savings for its UK
corporate customers making rail bookings via Aergo.

e-Travel Aergo, Amadeus` online corporate booking tool, will enable
customers travelling by Eurostar or by UK domestic rail to access ByRail`s
online database of rail schedules, seat availabilities and prices in real
time. Aergo users will be able to book rail on-line via ByRail whenever rail
is the travel option that best meets their needs.

“Rail travel can provide significant cost and time savings for business
travellers.  In this increasingly price sensitive environment, where an
average airline ticket can cost nearly five times more than the average rail
ticket on some routes, many corporations are beginning to strongly encourage
their employees to travel by rail,” Charles Fenton, General Manager from

Amadeus e-Travel which enables us to make our services more accessible to
the corporate market.”

Along with saving on the cost of the trip itself, booking rail online
reduces the time spent managing the reservation and automates the booking
process. Employees spend less time on the phone with travel agencies, which
in turn frees up agents to handle more complex enquiries.
