Cyberes plc is pleased to announce that David Alan Brown, aged 52, is joining the Board of Cyberes as a Non-Executive Director with immediate effect.

David is Vice President of UK, Ireland and the Nordic Region of Sabre Europe Management Services Ltd., part of Sabre Inc., the world’s largest distributor of published air fares.

Since March 2002, Cyberes has enjoyed an outsourcing agreement with Sabre in the UK by which Cyberes Technology Services provides its travel booking software to certain Sabre users.

Tariq Malik, Cyberes’ Chief Executive, said: “Following the distribution agreement we have reached with Sabre, we are delighted to welcome one of Sabre’s leading lights to our Board. He has great experience of the travel industry, and his strategic understanding will be of immense value in Cyberes’ drive for growth.”

 

David Brown is also a director of Sabre UK Marketing Ltd, Sabre Ireland Ltd and Sabre Online Ireland Ltd, an online travel technology business, and has been a director within the Sabre organisation since 1995.  He has held no other Directorships in the last five years.
