, Asia Pacific’s leading GDS (Global Distribution Service) provider, has been awarded the People Developer Standard by SPRING Singapore (Standards, Productivity and Innovation Board) in recognition of their employee training and development initiatives.
Already well known for the high level of training they provide their travel agents and NMCs (National Marketing Companies), ABACUS International’s efforts in aligning their own employees’ development toward better business results have led to the company achieving the rigidly assessed quality standard.
ABACUS International is one of the first organisations to be evaluated under the new 56-point criteria APEX system. To be certified with the People Developer Standard, organisations need to score at least 400 out of 1,000 points in these criteria.
