In a city buzzing over hot-ticket restaurants that often come and go
within the course of only a year, the Big 4 Restaurant`s 25-year
reputation for truly innovative American cuisine has made it a favorite of
local San Franciscans and visitors-in-the-know alike.
Offering the finest in innovative and contemporary American cuisine, the
Big 4 Restaurant is located directly off the lobby of the Huntington Hotel
and Nob Hill Spa, at California and Taylor Streets. Named for the four

Mark Hopkins and C.P. Huntington—the restaurant houses an impressive
collection of original artifacts, historical photographs and memorabilia
from the great California Gold Rush.
The restaurant`s club-like ambiance, set in an elegant early-California
decor with warm colors, rich leather and sparkling beveled glass, suggests
another era of California`s illustrious past. More information is
