The resort rental assets of Discover Resorts International, a diversified
hospitality company featuring vacation rentals based in Scottsdale, Ariz.,
have been purchased for an undisclosed amount by New Frontier Resorts,
Inc. The assets purchased included the Arizona and Colorado vacation
rental business, trademarks and website and the Discover Resorts name and
brand.
“We are taking the company in a new direction by offering a licensing
program, ” said Jim Kempski, New Frontier Resorts President and CEO. “This
enables real estate developers and other vacation rental company owners to
use the Discover Resorts brand name to compete in this marketplace and to
help sell real estate.”

“Mariners Club Bahia Beach Resorts in Tampa Bay, Fl. is one of our first
licensees under the new ownership,” added Kempski. “The resort has 94
vacation condominiums, two deep-water marinas with many more amenities and
a future development project that adds 2,000 more units.”

Kempski has more than 20 years in the real estate industry, including
time-share experience. He helped pioneer hospitality timeshare sales with
Holiday Inn`s subsidiary, Holiday Clubs International, in the late 1970`s.
More recently, Kempski developed and implemented a nationwide marketing
program for resort rental properties including the design and launch of an
e-commerce strategy, which accounted for 40 percent of the total rental
traffic generated by the portfolio of properties under his management.

A native of Chicago, Kempski is a board member of the industry`s trade
group, Vacation Rental Managers Association (VRMA). He has been a licensed
Realtor in Arizona and Florida and sold real estate in the Bahamas.
