Bruce D. Wardinski, president and CEO, of Barcelo Crestline Corporation,
today announced the promotion of Paul Gladd to Senior Vice President,
Development, for both Crestline Hotels & Resorts and its parent company,
Barcelo Crestline. He will report directly to Mr. Wardinski.

Mr. Gladd has extensive hospitality industry experience in partnership
accounting and acquisitions. He joined Marriott Corporation in 1989 in the
Partnership Services Group and subsequently moved on to Host Marriott
Corporation working in acquisitions and development. In 1998, Mr. Gladd
joined Crestline Capital as Vice President of Development and
Acquisitions. Since then he has been instrumental in the growth of the
Company, taking the lead in the acquisition of Stormont Trice and Durbin
Company Management, and fostering key partnerships with both Armada
Hoffler and H&S Development, among others.

In his new position Mr. Gladd will be responsible for overseeing all of
Crestline`s development activities and partnerships. He is a graduate of
Virginia`s, James Madison University where he received degrees in
accounting and finance.
