Mandalay Bay Aims to Raise the Bar

Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino has become synonymous with elegance and
style in Las Vegas and around the world. With the addition of a second
hotel to its already world-renowned complex, Mandalay Bay aims to raise
the bar still higher.
THEhotel at Mandalay Bay ushers in a new model of understated luxury to
the Las Vegas Strip, affording guests a haven of sophistication and
service on par with the best boutique hotels in the world. Its elegantly
appointed suites and stylish lobby areas set a tone of confident
discretion, while its carefully tailored roster of amenities provide an
unparalleled atmosphere for attending to both business and pleasure.

THEhotel is a stand-alone structure, serviced by its own entrance, lobby,
lounges, cafe, gym and spa, yet still offers easy access to all the
offerings for which Mandalay Bay has become famous. Visitors arrive via a
dedicated valet service located in a covered garage, through a beautifully
proportioned lobby with rich finishes in a restrained palette of black,
brown, and cream.

Beneath a 30-foot Arturo Herrera mural, an intimate bank of nine guest
check-in stations greets guests and assures a smooth, stress-free
transition into THEhotel`s ambiance. In the lobby, guests also have at
their disposal the 24-hour offerings of “the store,” a luxurious sundries
shop; an adjacent casual dining establishment named “the café;” as well as
the discrete lobby gathering spot called “the lounge,” which features a
bar, billiards tables, and inviting furnishings. Also part of the ground
floor environment, “the coffee bar,” “the business center,” guest-use
internet stations, and a reservations desk where guests find assistance in
making their ideal dinner plans and tee times.

Although THEhotel is abundant with the style and comforts sought after by
the upscale leisure traveler, it has been specifically designed to offer a
new level of support to the business guest.

A special feature of the property is the flexible menu of private
conference rooms on four floors of the hotel, where a wide variety of
business gatherings can be hosted. These richly furnished rooms can be
outfitted as private boardrooms, reception spaces, classrooms, or
theatres, and are outfitted with up to the minute electronic and digital
infrastructure. Business suites identical to the standard rooms throughout
the hotel are also situated on these floors for convenient access by the
guests overseeing their respective events.

The standard suite at THEhotel is the largest of any hotel in Las Vegas,
offering 725 square feet of luxury accommodations. The layout of each unit
is also unique, creating the perfect environment for entertaining with
discretion, or relaxing in style. Modern furnishings in rich earth tones
and dark woods bespeak an updated mid-century sensibility, while each
separate living area features a 42-inch plasma television, half-bath for
guests, private bar, and plush upholstered chairs and sofa. Separate from
these comfortable spaces are the bedrooms, which feature 32-inch flat
screen TV`s, ample dark wood armoires, down comforters and pillows, high
thread-count linens, robes, slippers, and pillow-top mattresses.

Large bathrooms with dual sinks, separate, glass-enclosed tub and shower,
and enclosed water closet are appointed with granite, marble and chrome.
Bathrooms also feature wall-mounted 13-inch flat screen TV`s. All suites
are serviced by high-speed internet connections and have a
fax/printer/copier at the desk in the salon.

More deluxe accommodations are also available among the 1,118 suites at
THEhotel, including the View Suites with stunning views at the ends of
each glass-walled wing of the building. On the uppermost floors of the
building, 28 premium suites ranging from 1,500 to 4,500 square feet are
available for an even greater sense of space and pampering.

A draw unto itself at THEhotel is the $11 million Bathhouse, a state of
the art gym and spa that occupies a double-height space on the second
floor. Designed by the specialist firm Richardson Sadeki and overseen by
the experienced spa impresario Roberta Rolnick, this 15,000 square foot
complex will redefine relaxation and rejuvenation in Las Vegas. Clad in
dark stone and shaped by a reductive sequence of geometric spaces, light,
and water, the architecture will inspire serenity in tandem with the
cutting edge treatments. Exclusive licenses with elite product lines such
as Aromapothecary, Carita, and Eminence will be available only at the
Bathhouse, while an innovative and extensive array of therapeutic services
are offered. Steamrooms, saunas, whirlpools, cold baths, a waterfall
corridor, mud baths, innumerable facials, massage in many forms,
manicures, pedicures, masques, and wraps are all part of the Bathhouse
experience.
THEhotel will offer what no hotel can currently offer in Las Vegas:
cosmopolitan style and elegance matched with the ultimate in business
support and spa services, all steps away from the unparalleled
entertainment offerings of Mandalay Bay.
