Hostelworld.com Wins World Summit Award

Dublin based Hostelworld.com has been recognised as one of the best sites
in the E-business category in the World Summit Awards held in Geneva last
week. Hostelworld.com was selected from more than 800 entries,
representing 136 countries and was named as one of forty of the world`s
best content websites by the World Summit Award Grand Jury.

An initiative by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization
(UNIDO) and several European nations, these awards focus on quality
content and innovative internet applications. Winners were showcased as
part of the Geneva World Summit on the Information Society, December 9-12,
2003.

This is just one of a number of accolades won by Hostelworld.com. The site
also won the overall Golden Spider Award in 2002 and the founders won the
Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year category at this year`s Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of the Year Awards held in Dublin earlier this year.
