Twenty Best Western hotels were named Best of the Best and 40 Best Western
hotels received an Honorable Mention at Best Western International`s
annual convention in San Antonio, Texas earlier this month. The hotels
were honored with the awards in front of nearly 3,000 industry peers.

The third annual Best of the Best awards formally recognize Best Western
hoteliers that demonstrate and best exemplify exceptional levels of
quality, service and value. Recipients were chosen by Best Western
International`s Board of Directors. The decision was based on strict
criteria including two quality assurance reviews conducted during the year
in which the property must receive two perfect scores, 1,000 out of a
possible 1,000. Recipients receiving an Honorable Mention received a
perfect score on one inspection and 975 out of a possible 1,000 on the
other. The program is open to all Best Western hotels in the United
States, Canada and the Caribbean.
