Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts today opens its first property in the
Bahamas, Four Seasons Resort Great Exuma at Emerald Bay. Located on the
largest of 365 unspoiled and mostly uninhabited islands within the
193-kilometre (120-mile) Exuma archipelago, the 183-room Resort is set on
190 pristine hectares (470 acres), surrounded by tranquil turquoise waters
and a white-sand beach. Only a 90-minute flight from Miami, the Resort is
easy to reach with daily commercial and private air service to Great Exuma.

The Resort`s Bahamian Colonial architecture, bougainvillea trellises and

guest rooms and 43 suites are housed in three-storey buildings with white
tiled roofs and soft pastel stucco facades. Each room has a secluded
