Harrahs Total Rewards Makess Web Smart 50

Harrah`s Entertainment, Inc. was named a “Web Smart 50” company in the
November 24 edition of BusinessWeek magazine.

The list features 50 companies and organizations identified by
BusinessWeek for innovative applications of information technology.
Harrah`s was recognized for Total Rewards, the company`s nationwide
customer loyalty program.
The magazine noted that Total Rewards helped boost Harrah`s share of its
customers` gaming budgets from 36 percent in 1998 to 43 percent in 2002.

“Harrah`s is one of the best in the business at wooing customers,”
BusinessWeek wrote.

Harrah`s was the only gaming company recognized. Other companies
recognized in the Web Smart 50 were IBM, BMW, Wells Fargo, Lockheed
Martin, Sony, General Motors, General Electric, UPS, Charles Schwab, Nike,
Amazon.com, Wal-Mart, Dell, Cisco Systems and the FBI.
