Reliant Energy Solutions has been chosen by Accor North America to supply
energy to its 71 eligible facilities in Texas, saving the hotel chain
approximately 20 percent on its energy costs.

Accor North America, the parent company to Sofitel, Red Roof Inns, Studio
6 and Motel 6 has signed a 3-year contract to purchase over 11 megawatts
of power through Reliant`s unique bundled-rate product.

“Accor was able to realize significant savings by combining these
facilities into one buying block,” explained Jim Ajello, president of
Reliant Energy Solutions. “In addition, our unique bundled-rate product
gives Accor simplified invoicing and allows them to manage their budgeting
cycles with more certainty.”
