top awards at the International Hotel Motel and Restaurant Show held in
New York this week for its Business Express `Space Saver` office center.

`Space Saver,` a 6` by 6` office center featuring a multi function desktop
printer, fax, copier and scanner, connected to a public PC, was judged
best new technology by editors of hospitality industry trade publications
reporting the show, and best new product and best in show by the
hospitality industry.
“We knew `Space Saver` was unique and would attract the industry`s
attention, but to win these two prestigious awards ahead of 1,400 exhibits
from 80 countries, was a huge endorsement,” said Cecil Ledesma, Vice

`Space Saver` allows a hotel guest to access and operate business
equipment, including a PC connected to the Internet, by swiping a credit
card or hotel room keycard. Hotel guests receive an itemized receipt at
the end of the transaction, and the cost is automatically charged to their
credit card or hotel account. Guests can also use their own PC in their
hotel rooms, and send material to the Business Express office for
printing. The office center is also equipped with a toll free number to
give customers access to a help desk 24x7.

`Space Saver` was among USA Technologies` most comprehensive range of
hospitality solutions exhibited at the show, which included its full range
of unattended Business Express(R) solutions, to hotel vending machines
that can be activated by credit cards and hotel room keycards, and the
very latest EnergyMiser products that reduce energy costs in a variety of
commercial appliances.
The awards were announced as USA Technologies and Kinko`s were releasing
details at the New York show of a strategic partnership to give business
travelers using Business Express centers the ability to tap into Kinko`s
services. Under the agreement, Kinko`s, a global leader in document
development and business services, will link its offices nationwide with
many of the 350 hotels equipped with USA Technologies` Business Express
business centers.
“There was huge interest in the Kinko`s/USA Technologies partnership
announcement with analysts commenting it provided enormous additional
value,” said Mr. Ledesma. “Business travelers can now directly access the
highest quality copying and business center support from their hotel room,
and it`s available 24 hours a day. The new service gives Kinko`s the
ability to take its business outside of its office centers directly into
the Nation`s hotels, and it gives Business Express customers the ability to tap into the
highest quality printing and document development services.”

Mr. Ledesma said Business Express also attracted considerable interest
from high-speed Internet access providers, with several scheduling
appointments to discuss business opportunities.
