The magic of just one wish can change a life. This holiday season,
Fairmont Rooms from the Heart - Fairmont Hotels & Resorts` new charitable
program - will capture the magic of many wishes by donating $10 per online
booking made during the month of December to the Make-A-Wish
Foundation(R). Bookings for travel taken from December 1, 2003 - December
31, 2004 can be made at http://www.fairmont.com/heart, where guests can
help make the dreams of extraordinary children come true with just one
click.

This online initiative launches a new partnership between Fairmont and the
Make-A-Wish Foundation, the world`s largest wish-granting charity.
Fairmont Rooms from the Heart is a multi-faceted program dedicated to
realizing the greatest wishes of children with life-threatening medical
conditions. In addition to the holiday fund raising, Fairmont will
contribute an annual donation of $75,000 US, actively partner in the
granting of approximately 200 wishes each year, and support a network of
colleagues volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“Fairmont`s commitment gives the Make-A-Wish Foundation the support to
grant even more wish child requests,” says Victoria Ames, CEO, Make-A-Wish
Foundation International. “This kind of corporate contribution,
encompassing not only funding, but time, minds and resources, goes to work
on several levels: teambuilding, reinforcing our goals, and sharing the
Make-A-Wish Foundation message with thousands of people worldwide.”

Since 54 percent of all these wish requests are travel-related, Fairmont`s
42 resorts and city-center hotels are ideally positioned to help make them
reality. Some of these requests are “to be” - a princess, a cowboy, a chef
or a doorman. Others will offer the opportunity to see a fantasy
destination, whether it`s a beach, a volcano, or even a glacier.
Fulfilling some wishes may simply mean providing a remarkable place to
stay and favorite meals at the end of a family`s adventure-filled day.
