Boyd Gaming Names Two New Board Members

Boyd Gaming Corporation today announced that Veronica Wilson and Luther
Mack were elected to the Company`s Board of Directors.
Ms. Wilson, 51, is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Aladdin Hotel
and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip and has nearly 30 years of senior
management experience in gaming. She is the past president of the
international Association of Hospitality Accountants, Nevada Chapter.
Today, she is president and chief executive of the Blind Center of Nevada,
an organization offering an array of services and programs that address
the needs of people with visual impairments.
Mr. Mack, 64, is the owner and operator of 10 McDonald`s restaurants in
northern Nevada and Chairman of the Nevada Athletic Commission. He also
serves on the board of directors for Washoe Medical`s Hospital Health Plan
and Wells Fargo Nevada Community Board. He has previously served on a
number of boards, including Harvey`s Resort and Casino, Pioneer Citizens
Bank, Governor`s Task Force on Tax Policy for the State of Nevada,
University of Nevada Reno`s Foundation Board, to name a few. With his
election to Boyd Gaming`s board, Mr. Mack has resigned his seat on the
Nevada Athletic Commission. He has served on the Commission for 14 years,
the last two as its chairman.
William S. Boyd, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming,
