Lake Las Vegas Selects Eagle Broadband

Eagle Broadband (AMEX:EAG), a leading supplier of broadband products, services and content, announced today that the company has been awarded a contract from Lake Las Vegas Resort to provide a range of enhanced broadband services including network integration, subscription and premium video programming, billing and operational support services to this elite resort community.
The customized bundle of services Eagle is delivering allows Lake Las Vegas to offer their customers high-demand broadband services and to better utilize their existing network infrastructure while lowering both capital and operating costs. The Lake Las Vegas contract further demonstrates the flexibility and benefits of Eagle`s “four-play” of bundled digital services (i.e., voice, video, super high-speed Internet access and security monitoring) and comprehensive design, development, deployment, and operation and support services. As the single-source provider of the latest technology and the widest range of higher-margin entertainment, communications and implementation services, Eagle Broadband delivers a fully customizable menu of services to municipalities, real estate developers, hotels and multi-tenant unit owners nationwide.
Lake Las Vegas is the nation`s premier integrated community, combining an exclusive residential lifestyle with the amenities of a destination resort. Located 17 miles from the Las Vegas Strip, Lake Las Vegas is a 2,600-acre residential, golf and resort destination surrounding a privately owned, 320-acre lake. At completion, the elite resort community will consist of residential homes, hotel rooms, and retail and commercial establishments. The Resort features developments within its NorthShore and SouthShore communities and includes MonteLago Village, a bustling enclave of resort villas, quaint shops, lakeside restaurants and the Tuscan-themed Casino MonteLago. In addition to its luxury residences and impeccable amenities, the Resort also boasts two Jack Nicklaus Signature courses, a Tom Weiskopf Signature course and the world-class accommodations of The Ritz-Carlton and Hyatt Regency. Lake Las Vegas is also in the process of evaluating deployment of an exclusive suite of advanced home security and monitoring services for residents and guests.
“From day one, our top focus at Lake Las Vegas has been to provide an unmatched living experience and quality of life for our residents and guests,” said Brad Nelson, chief operating officer, Lake Las Vegas Resort. “We selected Eagle Broadband because they demonstrated a clear understanding of our needs and offered us the most flexible suite of services specifically tailored to meet our current needs. Eagle offered the most complete set of broadband services and enabled us to select only those services we need now, protecting our investments in existing infrastructure, with the ability to easily upgrade or add new services when we are ready,” Nelson added.
Dave Weisman, CEO of Eagle Broadband commented on the multi-million dollar project, “We are delighted to have been selected by Lake Las Vegas to deliver a comprehensive package of premium entertainment and support services to their residential, commercial and hospitality customers.” Weisman went on to say, “Lake Las Vegas demands the highest possible quality for all services within their resort community. This project will serve as a showcase for state-of-the-art technology and bundled digital services, as well as the model for the profitable deployment of next generation networks and subscriber services.”
