Intrawest to Launch Phase III of the Village at Mammoth

On November 15, 2003, Intrawest Corporation (NYSE:IDR)(TSE:ITW) will launch phase III of The Village at Mammoth, offering 43 one-, two-, and three-bedroom luxury, resort condominiums for sale. To date, more than 90 per cent of the original inventory in the first two phases of The Village have been sold.
The Village at Mammoth is quickly becoming the central hub of activity for Mammoth Lakes, California, in the Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains. The Village`s shops, restaurants, nightlife and special events create a lively, pedestrian-only village modeled after an Old World European alpine town. Grand Sierra Lodge - phase III of The Village - will include Intrawest`s resort-condominium concept that combines full-ownership vacation real estate with the features and amenities of a luxury resort.
Condominium prices for Phase III of The Village are estimated to range from $370,000 to $1,000,000. Construction of phase III is expected to begin in the spring of 2004, with expected completion in mid-2005.
Each of the properties will be turnkey and ready for occupancy upon building completion. Owners will have the opportunity to place their property into an established rental arrangement.
The Village`s architecture is rich with rough timber accents and stone detailing adorning the street level shops and restaurants as well as the condominiums on the floors above. Colorful exterior designs, private balconies, and landscaping reflecting the natural surroundings all contribute to create a unique resort setting. On the inside, owners enjoy all the conveniences of modern-day luxury living with comfortable furnishings, stone fireplaces, and fully equipped custom kitchens with slate floors and granite countertops. Additional amenities include outdoor spas, fire pit, fitness center, underground parking, and bike/ski storage.
The Village is connected to Mammoth Mountain via a new 15-passenger express gondola, also new this winter.
