Wyndham Seeks Advice from Women Travelers

With recent reports indicating the hospitality industry is poised for a turnaround later this year, Wyndham International Inc.`s (AMEX:WBR) pioneering WOMEN ON THEIR WAY(R) program is leveraging the seventh annual WOMEN ON THEIR WAY Awards contest to determine what elements of the business travel experience can be improved while supporting the fight against breast cancer.
This year`s contest began October 1, with complete details and entry forms available at www.womenbusinesstravelers.com. The 2003 contest focuses on what elements of business travel women would change to enhance the overall experience. All entrants must respond to the question: “How would you improve the business travel experience for everyone if you had the power to make changes?”
Five finalists with the most insightful answers will be chosen to receive a seven-day/six-night stay for two at any Wyndham-owned or Wyndham-managed property, airfare for two and a year`s supply of Golden Door(R) Skin Care products.
“Wyndham operates by its philosophy of providing a customized experience to all our guests,” said Cary Jehl Broussard, vice president of WOMEN ON THEIR WAY marketing. “As the travel process continues to evolve, we`re seizing this opportunity to listen to the thoughts of those who travel frequently so we can continue to deliver on that promise.”
The contest asks women business travelers to provide valuable advice for their peers based on their own individual experiences in the world of business travel. Women interested in entering the 2003 WOMEN ON THEIR WAY contest must have traveled 5,000 airline miles for business and stayed five nights in a hotel during the past year. Potential contestants matching those criteria can answer this year`s question by logging on to www.womenbusinesstravelers.com. The question must be answered in 70 words or less and the deadline for entry is November 1, 2003. All entrants must meet the travel requirements and submit a written answer via the Internet. Wyndham will donate $1 to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation for the first 5,000 WOMEN ON THEIR WAY contest entries submitted.

Members of Wyndham`s Women Business Travelers Advisory Board will review contestant entries. The five most insightful and original answers will be chosen. For complete rules and regulations, please log onto www.womenbusinesstravelers.com.
The WOMEN ON THEIR WAY Awards was created to celebrate the achievements of women business travelers. The contest, now in its seventh year, began in 1995 to reward women business travelers for their best travel tips. The awards program has grown in scope since its inception, but continues to emphasize the valuable role “women on their way” can play as mentors to each other.
Wyndham`s WOMEN ON THEIR WAY is the hospitality industry`s first program dedicated entirely to the female business travelers. Committed to supporting women business travelers by listening and responding to their wants and needs, the program includes the Women Business Travelers Advisory Board, a Web site for women business travelers (www.womenontheirway.com), research with New York University`s Tisch Center for Hospitality, Tourism and Business Administration and supports numerous women`s organizations as the national hotel partner for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), Business and Professional Women/USA (BPW/USA), the Women`s Leadership Initiative for meeting professionals, LPGA Golf Clinics for Women and American Business Women`s Association (ABWA).
