Development Moves Forward for IACC Centre

Jay Oxford, general manager of the Hilton (NYSE:HLT) Long Beach, is proud to announce that plans have moved forward with development of a $5 million Executive Meeting Center (EMC) at this premier full-service hotel in Southern Los Angeles County. This dedicated small-to-medium-sized meeting facility has received provisional approval from the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) and is anticipated to open in early 2004.
With 12,000 sq. ft. of diverse and specialized meeting space, the Hilton Long Beach and Executive Meeting Center will be custom-built to meet all IACC specifications. Each of the 12 meeting rooms in the EMC will offer unobstructed views and will be specially equipped with ergonomic chairs, customized lighting, non-glare tables, acoustical treatments, T-4 high-speed Internet availability and individual climate controls to provide the ideal environment for a productive meeting. This facility also features a spacious dining area and a business center that exclusively cater to the needs of Executive Meeting Center guests.
The is one of a growing number of IACC meeting facilities in the Western U.S. and offers convenient airport access for out-of-town conference attendees to Los Angeles International and Orange County/John Wayne International airports (both 30 minutes) and Long Beach Municipal Airport (15 minutes).

The three meetings packages at the Executive Meeting Center will offer three specific meeting packages: Complete Meeting Package (CMP); Modified Meeting Package (MMP) and a Day Meeting Package (DMP). All the packages include: a dedicated Conference Planner, 24-hour basis conference rooms, continuous refreshment breaks, full-American breakfast buffets, hot and cold luncheon buffets, business and concierge services, an inclusive audiovisual package, hotel recreational services and overnight parking. Complete and Modified packages also include deluxe guest rooms, and the Complete Package also provides all dinner meals in the EMC private dining room.
