Incheon International Airport today further increased its competitive edge as a major regional aviation hub with the opening of the Hyatt Regency Incheon, the city’s first five-star hotel.
The new hotel, operating under the banner of Hyatt Regency, is invested by Korean Air, an operator of deluxe international hotels through the airline’s KAL Hotel division.
The opening ceremony took place today in the presence of Mr. Y.H. Cho, Chairman and CEO of Korean Air, and Mr. Bernd Chorengel, President of Hyatt International. “The synergy between Hyatt Regency Incheon and Korean Air will certainly play a major role in Incheon’s development into a pre-eminent aviation hub in Northeast Asia,” said Mr. Cho at the opening ceremony.
Strategically located in the international business complex just south of the airport’s passenger terminal, the 525-room Hyatt Regency Incheon will be the gateway hotel to Korea. It not only offers deluxe accommodation, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, spacious swimming pools and a variety of international cuisine for transit and international passengers, but also a full range of meeting, convention and banqueting services, featuringÊ multi-functional conference facilities, for the region’s business community.
To celebrate its opening, the Hyatt Regency Incheon is offering special promotional rates and packages until the end of this year. The promotional rate allows guests to enjoy the hotel’s refined services for just KRW 150,000 per night (excluding tax).
