The event attracted more than 300 honored guests and friends, including prominent business and civic leaders.
Showcasing its $6 million renovations, the Embassy Suites Hotel Columbia/Greystone`s re-grand opening event kicked off with a special ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a memorable evening with guided tours of the property`s most remarkable and newly renovated features. The tours included viewing the stunning atrium, flowing water feature, state-of-the-art meeting facilities, and the richly decorated gold and deep green lobby and guest rooms.

An elaborate Caribbean-themed reception was the highlight of the evening. Richard Snidar, chef of the Embassy Suites Hotel Columbia/Greystone created delicious Caribbean cuisine, which was served with frozen cocktails in a room decorated with tiki huts. Guests also enjoyed the engaging live music of Pantasia, a local steel drum band.
