From November 24 `03 to March 31 `04, St Andrews Old Course Hotel is offering a rare opportunity for golfers to play the revered Old Course with their annual Passport to Winter Golf package priced at £310 per person.

The price includes two nights` accommodation, full Scottish breakfast and dinner each day, and three rounds of golf on the world-famous St Andrews Links: one guaranteed tee time on the Old Course, and 18 holes on either the Jubilee, Eden or Strathtyrum. A three-night Passport to Winter Golf is also available at £415 per person. Packages are limited and highly popular - early booking is recommended.

Fair-weather golfers will be relieved to learn of St Andrews` good micro-climate, which keeps the links courses open year-round. In the unlikely event of a links course closure, green fees will be refunded. Also, for non-golfers, there is plenty to enjoy. The resort`s first-class Spa has introduced a stunning new wing where many therapy suites offer fine views across the hallowed turf to the sea. The beach is a mere two-minute stroll from the hotel, whilst St Andrews town centre with its wealth of history, antique shops, galleries and cafés, is no more than a five minutes` walk. Finally, the best traditional and contemporary cuisine is available within the hotel itself where Sands Seafood Bar & Restaurant, the award-winning Road Hole Grill, and The Jigger Inn - a traditional country pub, serve an eclectic choice of meals.
