Tulsa Hotel Awarded AAA Four Diamond

John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. (AMEX:JQH) proudly announces that the Renaissance(R) Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center recently received a four diamond rating from the American Automotive Association (AAA). Opening just four months ago, the new $50 million, 300-room hotel is the only property to earn the four diamond rating in Tulsa and is one of three hotels with the rating distinction in Oklahoma. Owned by Mr. John Q. Hammons, the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center is managed by Springfield, Mo.-based John Q. Hammons Hotels, Inc. (AMEX:JQH), the nation`s leading independent builder, developer, owner and manager of upscale, full-service hotels, resorts and suites.
The AAA diamond ratings are assigned to an exclusive group of properties that successfully complete a thorough evaluation process. The ratings, which range from one diamond to five diamond, represent a combination of overall quality, variety of facilities and level of services offered by a property. The size, age and overall appeal of an establishment, as well as regional architectural style and design are also considered when assigning a diamond rating. Four diamond distinctions are given to upscale properties that offer exceptional accommodations, an extensive array of amenities, and provide a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.
“Receiving AAA`s Four Diamond rating within only four months of our property`s grand opening illustrates our staff`s dedication to superior service and exceptional standards,” said Gordon Rostvold, general manager of the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center. “This award is one of the hospitality industry`s most prestigious honors. We are proud to be Tulsa`s only four diamond hotel and will continue to reinforce John Q. Hammons Hotels` commitment to excellence in the future.”
