HFTP Announces HITEC 2003 Sponsors

Austin, Texas; June 17, 2003 - In recognition of the importance of HITEC 2003 to the industry, the annual hospitality technology event planned for June 24-26 in New Orleans, has garnered an immense amount of support from industry stakeholders. In addition to the more than 280 exhibiting companies that will occupy over 600 booths, HITEC also has numerous event sponsors. These official conference sponsors make it possible to hold attendance costs down, as well as, upgrade official conference events.
“HFTP, the producer of HITEC, is very grateful for the support of our official conference sponsors.” said Frank Wolfe, HFTP`s executive vice president and CEO. “We would like to acknowledge and distinguish them from companies who have organized events surrounding HITEC, but are not legitimately our partners. Some companies are hosting events in New Orleans that our attendees might think have `teamed up` with HITEC due to confusing or misleading advertising. These companies, ranging from audio visual companies to software suppliers, are not official sponsors and in some cases are not exhibitors.”

HITEC 2003 sponsors include:

-Aptech Computer Systems
-Club Managers -Association of America
-Datavision Technologies
-Galaxy Hotel Systems
-General Dynamics
-Hospitality Upgrade
-Metropolis Technologies
-Newmarket International
-REMco Software, Inc.
-SoftBrands Hospitality
-Springer-Miller Systems

“We ask our attendees to extend their appreciation for the companies that are exhibitors at HITEC 2003, as well as, our official conference sponsors,” said Wolfe.
