Rosewood`s Top Ranking in Departures

New York - Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, the premier manager for ultra-luxury properties, announces over two-thirds of their properties rank in Departures’ first-ever readers’ favorites hotel survey, with three Rosewood properties ranking number one in their category. The survey is published in the current May/June issue of Departures.

Published by American Express for Platinum Card and Centurion members, American Express’ most prestigious customers, Departures caters to a sophisticated and well-traveled audience reaching over 650,000 readers. Compiled from over 50,000 reviews, the survey categorizes each property according to the size or location of the hotel and ranks them according to readers’ preferences.

“We are extremely proud that Rosewood fared so well with Departures’ readers,” said John Scott, Rosewood’s newly appointed President and CEO. “To be number one in three categories is especially rewarding as it proves to us that our attention to detail and dedication to service is resonating with our guests.”

Unlike many of their competitors, Rosewood is an unconventional brand in the world of luxury hotels. None of the properties in the collection incorporate Rosewood into its name, nor does any property fly a Rosewood corporate flag. Additionally, no two properties in the collection are alike. However, the differences are not just aesthetic. Each Rosewood Hotel and Resort incorporates the local culture, history and soul of its environment creating A Sense of Place® within each property.
