Sheraton West Palm Beach Goes Marriott

WASHINGTON - June 2, 2003 - Marriott International, Inc. (NYSE:MAR) announced today that the Sheraton West Palm Beach has been officially converted to the West Palm Beach Marriott. The 349-room hotel is located at 630 Clearwater Park Road and is currently undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment program, which is expected to be complete by early 2004. The property is owned by PBM Properties, LLC and managed by Marriott International.

Guests will enjoy convenient access to many nearby attractions, including Worth Avenue, Sound Advice Amphitheater, Lion Country Safari, Palm Beach Polo Club and the Port of Palm Beach. For baseball fans, Roger Dean Stadium, the spring training facility of the St. Louis Cardinals, is just 20 miles from the hotel.
Renovated guest rooms will feature the signature “Marriott Bed,” with quilted-top mattresses, oversized comforters and feather pillows.
