Carlson Companies has promoted Bob Kleinschmidt to vice president, finance and chief accounting officer.
Kleinschmidt joined Carlson Companies in July 1991, and has held senior-level finance roles in both Carlson Companies and Carlson Hospitality Worldwide. Most recently, he was vice president and chief financial officer for the hospitality division. Prior to joining Carlson Companies, Kleinschmidt held various positions with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
In his new position, Kleinschmidt will be responsible for establishing a new integrated financial-services and planning capability for the corporate center that will be best in class in terms of business support and services.
A certified public accountant, Kleinschmidt holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota.
Kleinschmidt and his family live in Maple Grove.
