InterContinental to Present at NYU

Atlanta, GA - May 19, 2003 - InterContinental Hotels Group [LON:IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world’s most global hotel company, is pleased to announce that Richard Solomons, executive vice president and finance director, and Peter Gowers, executive vice president, Global Brand Services, will be presenting at this year’s NYU International Hospitality Industry Investment Conference. This year’s event is being held from June 1 to 3, 2003, at the New York Marriott Marquis Hotel.
Mr. Solomons will speak at the “Bottom Line” seminar, providing his expertise and insight into the hotel industry’s current economic and regulatory environment. The workshop is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM.
Mr. Gowers will be appearing on the “Distribution: The Next Stage” panel, where he will offer his insight into hotel distribution strategy and discuss how InterContinental Hotels Group is addressing the challenges of the merchant model. This exciting workshop is scheduled for Monday, June 2 from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM.
