Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts is teaming up once again with Intrawest Corporation to introduce a new, first-class property to Whistler, B.C. Construction of Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre is scheduled to begin in May 2003 and is slated for completion in December 2004.
Located in the heart of Whistler Village, only steps from the existing Pan Pacific Lodge Whistler, this new 83-room luxury property is an extension of, or an enhancement to, the inventory of 121 deluxe rooms and suites Pan Pacific already manages in North America`s number one “playground.”

Under the guidance of Howard Bingham Hill Architects and Santa Monica based interior designers Hirsch Bedner & Associates, Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre has been thoughtfully and carefully designed to showcase its prominent gateway location. The hotel, valued at $54 million CDN, comprises larger suites and clever design features to provide more flexible, efficient use of space such as foldaway dining tables and breakfast bars, built-in storage units, spacious bathrooms and functional kitchen designs.

The suites will range in size between 407 and 1,680 square feet. Architectural details include stepped architecture that allows for unique suite designs and a variety of balcony sizes. Some suites will have vaulted ceilings and all suites will contain oversized windows, maximizing view opportunities to the surrounding mountains and village.

Amenities in the luxury hotel will include a 25 yard lap pool and two hot tubs, spa and treatment rooms, sauna, fitness rooms, private landscape areas, outdoor BBQ area, room service, meeting rooms, business center and ski storage at mountain base.

Pan Pacific Whistler Village Centre is an all-inclusive resort. Rates include access to 24-hour concierge service through the exclusive Concierge Plus lounge, which serves complimentary breakfast and après-ski alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages daily to guests staying in the hotel.
