Ritz-Carlton, Jupiter Real Estate Offering

JUPITER, Fla. - May 12, 2003—Demand for elegant homes with world-class amenities in Palm Beach County has spurred The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter, to release its third prestigious home ownership option offered at the 285-acre private residential enclave. The public launch of The Ritz-Carlton Estates follows the recent sales success of the Mediterranean-style courtyard Residences, which are nearly fully subscribed.

The Estates are nestled in a private setting with sweeping views of the fourth, fifth and eighth fairways of the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, and are adjacent to a protected oak forest and bald eagle preserve.
“These homes are among the most elegant and luxurious estates in Palm Beach County,” said David Short, regional vice president sales and marketing. “Combine that with the tradition of service excellence individuals have come to expect from The Ritz-Carlton, and it’s not a mystery as to why we have received high levels of interest.”
With only 30 Estate Homes being built, Short anticipates that interest will intensify. Before the public launch, a 14-day private offering resulted in the sale of one third of the homes. The private offering was made available to a limited list of “insiders” who had expressed an interest in owning a large home in the community.
Priced from $2.4 million, The Estates range from 4,200 to 5,500 square feet in four or more bedroom floorplans. The interior rooms will be customized to the personal tastes and specifications of each buyer, courtesy of a Ritz-Carlton-trained, Builder Concierge.
The popularity of Builder Concierge services, already available with The Residences, prompted The Ritz-Carlton to adjust The Estates offering. They were originally slated to be fully custom-built, but interested buyers enjoyed the simplicity of customizing the interiors, while leaving the exterior architecture and design to The Ritz-Carlton.

The Builder Concierge will work with the owner throughout the entire building process. Custom floorplan selection options include the number of bedrooms and baths, plus choices of media rooms, home office/study, sitting rooms, in-law suites and exercise studios. All interior finishes, such as custom marble and granite, interior carpeting and other appointments, are made with the assistance of the Builder Concierge. Buyers will also be able to choose from several different designs for their swimming pool.
Each Estate is designed in the South Florida tradition of Addison Mizner, Florida’s most historically prominent architectural designer. Standard features include: outdoor terraces complete with a summer kitchen; two, two-bay garages; a private-entry foyer; and ceiling heights of 22 feet in the living room, 12 feet on the first floor and 10 feet upstairs. Chef-quality interior kitchens are equipped with SubZero refrigerators, Miele dishwashers, Dacor 48-inch six-burner gas ranges, Dutch-made cabinetry and wine coolers.

Residents at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter live The Ritz-Carlton lifestyle 365 days per year and have access to an assortment of private amenities. Landscaping services are standard, as well as exterior and pool care maintenance. Services provided á la carte include personal concierge services, transportation, daily housekeeping, engineering and private catering. The Ritz Kids program offers children activities throughout the year.

A 68,000-square-foot clubhouse is scheduled to open this November and will serve residents and Members of the private club. The clubhouse will offer a 15,000-square-foot Ritz-Carlton Spa with a fitness center, movement studio, treatment rooms, nail salon, heated swimming pool and whirlpool spas. Members will also enjoy the social atmosphere with a member’s lounge, tennis courts and dining through two Member-only facilities - a five-star signature restaurant and a casual pool bar and grill.
In addition to The Estates, The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club & Spa, Jupiter has two other ownership opportunities: the nearly sold-out Mediterranean-style courtyard Residences and The Ritz-Carlton Club fractional ownership homes, which provide owners with 35 days per year of luxury vacation living. Furthermore, The Club Home Members can enjoy reciprocity at other resorts in St. Thomas, U.S.V.I.; Santa Barbara, Calif.; and in Colorado’s Aspen Highlands and Bachelor Gulch.
