TORONTO—To kick off the summer travel season, participating Best Western hotels in the greater Toronto area are offering a $25 (Canadian) per room, per night rate good for the Victoria Day weekend, May 16-18.
Guests who stay during the weekend will also receive a coupon for 50 percent off of a rack rate on a future stay. The second stay must be completed by Labour Day Weekend ending Sept. 1 to be eligible.
“Out of town travelers will not find a better value for the holiday weekend,” said Neil Hornsby, Canadian Marketing Director for Best Western. “Even if you live in the area, you can take advantage of the rate and plan an overnight retreat. Visit the museum, science centre or zoo, go shopping, eat in a restaurant or just relax at the hotel and take a break away from home.”
“Our hotel operators wanted to show how committed they are to boosting our economy, especially in the tourism industry,” Hornsby added. “So many businesses have suffered recently that we decided to do our part to help stimulate the economy.”
To book the rate, call Best Western International’s 24-hour, toll-free reservations number at (800)-WESTERN and ask for BestRates?. Reservations are also available through a travel agent or from Best Western International’s website at www.bestwestern.com.
The participating hotels are located in Scarborough, Toronto (downtown and the airport), Mississauga and Brampton. The rate is commissionable to travel agents. Frequent traveler points/miles are also awarded with this promotion to all Gold Crown Club International members.
