Expansion at Jolie Ville Mövenpick
Soon added facilities to the Jolie Ville Mövenpick Resort & Casino Sharm El Sheikh will underline the hotels commit-ment to remain a leader of the hospitality industry located in Naama bay. General Manager Rolf R. Bauer announced the opening of the new conference centre as well as a new restau-rant, shopping arcade, bakery and additional rooms.
Almost completed is a new shopping center facing Naama Bay’s most popular pedestrian zone and entertainment area. A classical Italian restaurant, due to open in July 2003, will be located on the first floor of the building and can be reached via the first escalator in Naama Bay. Guests will enjoy culinary delights à la Mövenpick from a show kitchen located within the restaurant, a wood fired pizza oven and a small wine cellar offering a range of Italian and local wines.
Furthermore a Bakery & Ice cream outlet will sell over the counter the famous Mövenpick Ice cream and the hotels already popular array of breads, pastries and cakes.
Another Jewel in the crown will no doubt be the construction of a new Congress Center with state-of-the-art technology and ideal for large conferences, conventions and incentive groups. Its main feature will be the pillarless grand ball room accommodating up to 500 persons. 6 smaller conference rooms ranging from 70 persons to 130 persons plus board room and VIP room round up the offer for the staging of successful events.
A restaurant on the ground floor with a seating capacity of 250 persons will be added to cater for conferences and hotel guests staying in the sports area of the hotel. 5 existing restaurants will ensure that con-ference delegates enjoy a large variety of dining venues to choose from. The opening of the new conference centre is scheduled for October 2003.
40 new rooms will be added by July 2003 to the hotels front area, bringing the total number of rooms to 396.
“The current expansion plans of the hotel highlight the confi-dence of the owner Mr. Hussein K. Salem and the management in the continued popularity of Sharm El Sheikh as one of the most popular tourist destinations” said Rolf R. Bauer.
